Swimming Pool Controller from Pi is installed in a school in Pennsylvania, USA

A swimming pool controller from Pi has been installed by Link Automation at Owen J Roberts Middle School, Pennsylvania.

The CRIUS® AquaSense at the school’s 25 yard competition pool monitors for ORP, pH and Free Chlorine, with displays for all of these as well as temperature. Using the 4-20mA output, they are also displaying the pH and Chlorine levels on the pool deck, in real time on an external LED display.

The AquaSense controller is managing the High Capacity Feed (HCF) Chlorination System, and is maintaining within 0.02ppm and 0.01pH under almost all conditions using an eduction feed of both bleach and muriatic acid.

Swimming Pool Controllers from Pi now available in the USA

Swimming Pool Controllers (AquaSense) from Pi have been chosen by Link Automation to be offered to their existing and new customers.

Link Automation, based in New Jersey, have now installed more than ten AquaSense across the North East of America and have been so pleased with the results that they are private labelling the instrument and making it their primary offering for the pool industry.

When asked why Link had chosen the AquaSense swimming pool controller from Pi, Chris Tedeschi of Link Automation said, “We have been looking for a great quality controller with the option of using ORP or chlorine sensors for the main pool control for a little while and having installed more than ten of Pi’s AquaSense we are convinced we’ve found it. The quality of the sensors is absolutely great and that leads to perfect pool control and happy customers. There are also some great features like full cloud based remote access.”

Public Utilities Board Singapore start using Pi’s Free Chlorine Analyser

Chlorine Analysers from Pi have been supplied to Singapore’s Public Utilities Board (PUB) by AI Analytical.

The Singapore Government run PUB purchased two CRONOS® HaloSense free chlorine analysers for use on their main site, and one CRONOS® HaloSense zero chlorine analyser for use on one of their smaller sites.

Pi’s HaloSense range of chlorine controllers can be used in many applications requiring chlorine control and measurement in, for example, potable water, seawater, process water, swimming pool water, waste water, food washing and a range of waters in the paper and pulp industry. They are stable and reliable, bufferless and reagentless with a reduced pH dependency, at a low purchase cost and low cost of ownership.

Singapore’s PUB manages all of Singapore’s water supply and is responsible for the collection, production, distribution and reclamation of water. Fifty years ago, Singapore struggled with water shortages due to lack of natural water resources and pollution in rivers. The Singapore Government have turned that around by investing and building a robust, sustainable water supply.
