Dissolved Oxygen Monitor CRIUS® 3200
The CRIUS 3200 Optical Dissolved Oxygen Meter with self cleaning and self verification offers enhanced reliability and unrivalled low maintenance.

The CRIUS® 3200 DO meter is used in Aeration Lanes and Oxidation Ditches to control the air blowers.
What is probably the worlds most reliable Dissolved Oxygen sensor from In-Situ® the RDO® sensor coupled with Pi’s award winning CRIUS® electronics provides up to 12 months between maintenance and calibration events.
Enhanced with a Pi self cleaning and self verification end cap (Pat pending) the CRIUS® 3200 Dissolved Oxygen meters are truly unique!
The sensing element (lumiphore) is activated, or excited when illuminated with a blue light. When activated, the sensor emits red light in an intensity that is inversely proportional to the amount of dissloved oxygen present in the water. There is also a time delay between the peak emission of blue light and peak response of fluoresced red light. The amount of delay is inversely proportional to the amount of dissolved oxygen present. This time delay can be expressed as a phase shift between the wave patterns of incident blue light and the fluoresced red light. This is in turn reported by the electronics of the DO analyser into a ppm or mg/l reading of Dissolved Oxygen. The advantages of this technology are that it is more stable than traditional electrochemical devices and far more resistant to abrasion. By using the state of the art sensor and electronics together the reliability, accuracy, and flexibility of the CRIUS® 3200 DO Meter is far superior to that of its competitors' DO monitors.
In addition to the state of the art Optical sensor the CRIUS® 3200 offers a variety of communication protocols including Modbus, TCP/IP, RS485, TTL, Relays and 4-20mA outputs. Despite all of the additional functionality that this Dissolved Oxygen Monitor has to offer, the purchase costs are less than or comparable to, its competitors. Added to the cost savings of a truly automatic (no operator present), self cleaning and DO meter verification system, some will achieve a replacement payback of only a few months.
The self verification option (pat pending) is revolutionising calibration routines in that this dissolved Oxygen monitor is able to check it’s own functionality on a regular basis and call for calibration when necessary, typically every 12 months.
