Residual Chlorine Autocalibrator
The majority of the whole life costs of a residual chlorine analyser are in the time it takes to travel to a site to calibrate a remote chlorine monitor. The CRIUS® 3500 autocalibrator provides automatic calibration resulting in a fully automated analyser and will autocalibrate a free or total chlorine residual monitor at user defined intervals, meaning that the chlorine monitor can go for six months with no user intervention at all, greatly reducing the whole life costs.

The CRIUS® 3500 Residual Chlorine Analyser is the first of its kind in the world to offer an automatic calibrator as an option. Cleverly engineered and using state of the art electronics the CRIUS® 3500 is able to save customers considerable sums of money by providing automatic chlorine analyser calibration at user defined time intervals.
Particularly useful for remote sites, with maintenance intervals at 6 months, the chlorine analyser fitted with the residual chlorine autocalibration is able to perform automatic calibrations typically with no operator present, once a week for six months with no maintenance and therefore has a very low total cost of owenership. This ability can drastically reduce the carbon footprint of your residual chlorine monitor. By adding the autocalibrator to remote chlorine analysers, operators of residual chlorine monitors can save significant money and CO2 emissions by greatly reducing the need to visit the chlorine monitor from perhaps once per week to once per six months. The chlorine analyser calibrator automatically calibrates the chlorine analyser by passing a known chlorine sample over the sensor and uses that sample to calibrate the free or total chlorine sensor. The output from the sensor is held during the autocalibration and chlorine dosing control is unaffected. The remote chlorine analyser can be fitted with a GSM modem allowing full remote control via the internet.
The CRIUS® 3500 offers a range of communication protocols including, TCP/IP (LAN), USB, RS485, Modbus, TTL, Relays and 4-20mA outputs. It is possible to interface and control the CRIUS® 3500 Residual Chlorine Calibrator remotely, enabling data and text, alarms and setup information to be sent direct to your computer via a GSM/GPRS modem. Despite all of the additional functionality that this Automatic Chlorine Analyser has to offer, the purchase costs are less than, or comparable to, its competitors. If you then add in the cost savings of a truly automatic (no operator present) calibration system, some will achieve a replacement payback of only a few months, on their installed Free Chlorine Analysers.
